1st period:
1) short discussion about a few topics

- $ for banquet

3) Continue to work on your CareerSafe certification course

4) You need to be completed with 1.0 through 10.0 by the end of the period on THRUSDAY 4/9/09.

5) BLOG ASSIGNMENT - DUE TODAY:
* Towards the end of the period TODAY, I want you to make a post to YOUR blog.
* Blog title should be: OSHA PROGRESS
* In the body of the post, I want you to tell me what number module you have completed by the end of the period today. And tell me 1 thing you have learned so far in the course.

NO APRIL FOOLS JOKES TODAY!!

POSTERS WERE TO BE TURNED IN YESTERDAY! I AM STILL MISSING SEVERAL! POINTS TAKEN OFF EVERY DAY IT IS LATE!

REMEMBER, JUST BECAUSE YOU TEXT OR CALL ME THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE OUT OR LATE, DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE WILL NOT BE CONSEQUENCES FOR THOSE ACTIONS. You have got to start scheduling your appointments at better times; and you have got to start getting up earlier, in case you have car trouble you can still get here on time!!

WARM-UP:
1) update time sheet (IF YOU DIDN'T TURN TIME SHEET IN YESTERDAY YOU NEED TO DO THAT TODAY)
2) update week #29 work schedule post if need be
3) run copies of pay check stubs and update yellow pay check sheet.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:

1) 3-4 POSTER PRESENTATIONS TODAY!
2) continue working on the OHSA certification course; get out your notes and begin working on your course; remember you will have to start over at the beginning of a module if you don't finish it completely before the end of the period (I can explain this better orally)

I have added a link to the OHSA certification course on the right hand side of my blog. Remember you must make a 70% or better on the assessments in order to get credit for that module and become fully certified.

PLEASE LEAVE THE HEAD PHONES AT YOUR WORK STATIONS AT THE END OF EACH PERIOD!
