Daily Agenda, Friday, May 1

REMEMBER I AM NOT HERE TODAY OR MONDAY! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR AND WORK ON THE ASSIGNMENTS I HAVE LEFT HERE FOR YOU TO DO. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

Most of you have had a long break from school now, so let's get back in to the swing of things and finish out this year strong and productive.

I MUST HAVE YOUR 5TH SIX WEEKS TIME SHEET TURNED IN BY THE END OF THE PERIOD ON TUESDAY, MAY 5TH OR IT WILL BE A ZEROE WITH NO OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE IT UP THAT GRADE. However, I will still have to have the document so I can audit and count your hours.

WARM-UP:
* Your folders are in the black crate.
* Please get your 6th Six Weeks time sheet and update it. If it is not in your folder, look in your mailbox. If it is not in your mailbox, then that means I don't have it or it is still in the turn in mailbox.
* Update your yellow pay check stub record sheet.
* make copies of your pay check stubs if needed.

YOU MUST TURN IN YOUR 6TH SIX WEEKS TIME SHEET TO MY TURN IN TRAY ON MONDAY, MAY 4TH. DON'T FORGET. THIS IS A DAILY GRADE.

BLOG POSTING ASSIGNMENT - DUE TODAY
* Make a posting on your blog for your schedule that you worked this week.
* title of post should be --> Work Week # 33
* Be sure to list Monday, 4/27 through Sunday, 5/3

* I want to know the hours you worked the last 4 days of TAKS and what you are to work this weekend.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
* The only thing I want you to be working on is OSHA certification. I want everyone to finish, pass and become certified. You have until the end of the period Tuesday, May 5th to get this finished for a grade. After that we are moving on. You can continue to work on it in your own time, but I will not be providing any more class time to work on it. It doesn't expire for a year.

* If you were locked out, I expect that you have been visiting the OSHA Teen Safety in Restaurants website http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/youth/restaurant/index.html and studying that information.

* If you feel that you know it well enough you can go to the following website and take the test in QUIA over the information on the OSHA Teen Safety in Restaurants website. You only need to put your name in to take the test. Click on the following website to take you to the test: OSHA: TEEN Safety in Restaurants

If anyone finishes early, and you need something to do, then I suggest you help each other out, or audit your folder and make sure EVERYTHING IN THERE IS COMPLETELY UP TO DATE.

Please be good and follow directions. I want a good note please.
Have a great weekend.
See you Tuesday.

I will have another post on Monday for additional warm-up assignments.
