Wow, can yall believe it is already December 1st? This semester is flying by.
Welcome back. I hope everyone had a great holdiay.

REMINDERS: JUST BECAUSE YOU TEXT ME OR CALL TELLING ME YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE OR ABSENT, THAT DOES NOT EXCUSE YOU FROM CONSEQUENCE OR LOSS OF GRADE POINTS.

WARM-UP:

1) post assignment: post your weekly work schedule for this week on your blog.
Title post: Work Schedule Week #15

I am taking points off if you do not follow instructions on formatting and not including all information requested. You must include every day of the week. You must include all jobs you are recording hours for. You must list times that you are scheduled to work.

Grades are low due to these not be up to date.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
5) Chapters 10 & 11 groups need to get together and make sure I have all documents that I am supposed to have. (Someone needs to come and talk to me today during class about what I have and what I don't and what copies I need to make, etc.). These groups need to prepare to present tomorrow in class. don't forget to review the Professional Dress requirements handout --> Professional Dress Expectations for Presentations and the grading rubric for the group presentations --> Group Presentation Grading Rubric

6) If you have not taken Chapter 8 & 9 tests in Quia you need to do so ASAP (today preferrably).

7) If you have not taken the group evaluation survey in Quia for you and each of your group memembers you must do so TODAY. I AM GOING TO FIGURE GRADES TODAY AND RECORD THEM.

8) If you owe me anything else, please get it turned in ASAP.

2ND PERIOD WE NEED TO DISCUSS ADOPT A KID.

I will have 2nd six weeks grade reports for yall. Sorry so late. I will also give you what I have recorded in gradebook so far for 3rd six weeks.

I WILL START GOING OUT TODAY TO DELIVER ALL EVALUATIONS. ALL EMPLOYER EVALUATIONS WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 12TH, NEXT FRIDAY.

Make sure you list your work schedule for this week.
Be sure to include the day of week and the date (AGAIN I TAKE POINTS OFF IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS CORRECTLY).
I want your post to look like the example below.
Points off if it doesn't.
Example:

REMINDERS:
I AM GONE TODAY, DON'T FORGET. I EXPECT YOU TO ALL BE ON EXCEPTIONAL BEHAVIOR TODAY AND TO DO EVERYTHING I LIST HERE FOR YOU. Please don't let me down today.

We have to have some serious discussions about what's been going on around here when I get back.

I still have your folders at home. There are a lot of you who are missing all kinds of documents, pay check stubs, filling out the pay check stub record sheet. Your grade this six weeks may really suffer because of that. You have to keep that stuff up to date, because you never know when I am going to take a grade on it, plus it is the law and a major part of this class.

Hopefully tomorrow or Monday I can let each of you know what I am missing from you.

Tests will be taken in Quia tomorrow so be prepared for that.

Chapters 10 and 11 will Present on December 2, (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving). These groups need to be ready.


WARM-UP:
1) EVERYONE Check your mailbox. Get everything out of your mailbox.
2) If you need ot make copies of check stubs, please do so and then just put the copies in your mailbox for safe keeping until I return tomorrow with your folders.
3) Update your 3rd Six Weeks time sheet

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
4) You are to complete all the Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 lesson activities that were left in your box. I copied many of them front and back, so be sure to complete both sides of each document. You need to work delingently on these handouts, because this is your review for the tests you will take tomorrow.
5) The sub will go over the answers with you to ensure that you have all the correct answers to study for your tests with. Each of the chapter 8 and chapter 9 groups may need to help the sub decifer what answer keys are what, etc. Please do that if needed. You will not be able to use any of your notes on the tests so you better study all of your notes and handouts for each chapter before tomorrow.

SUB - PLEASE BEGIN GOING OVER ANSWERS WITH STUDENTS AT:
1ST PERIOD: 9:15
2ND PERIOD: 10:20

6) I will give you 25 bonus points per test if you complete the following during class today (after you have done the handouts) and turn it in to the box TOMORROW BEFORE WE TAKE THE TESTS (you may not take a textbook home with you)

- pg. 170 Recalling Key Concepts (write it all out on your paper or you can type it and print)
- pg. 162 Section 8.1 Review (questions: 1, 2, 3: write the question and the answer)
- pg. 168 Section 8.2 Review (questions: 1, 2, 3: write the question and the answer)
- pg. 170 Reviewing Key Terms (write out each word and its definition)

Chpater 9:
- 190 Recalling Key Concepts (just write the sentence with the correct word that goes in blank)
- pg. 190 Reviewing Key Terms (write out each word and its definition)

I HAVE YOUR FOLDERS AT HOME! - THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF STUFF MISSING IN A LOT OF YOUR FOLDERS!!

I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY, DEPENDABLITY, AND LACK OF WORK PERFORMANCE. A LOT OF YOU WOULD BE FIRED IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY MY EMPLOYEE. I AM GOING TO JUST START TAKING POINTS OFF FOR EVERYTHING AND YOU MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW I HAVE DONE IT. THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOU AND ME HAS REALLY GOTTEN LAXED AS WELL. YOU HAVE GOT TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN IN WEEKS PAST!!!

I WANT BETTER PRODUCTION, TIME MANAGEMENT AND RESPONSIBILTY FROM ALL YOU STARTING TODAY!!!

WARM-UP:

• OSHA handout printed out, turned in and document saved in the J:/ drive (I WILL ACCEPT THESE TOMORROW WITH NO PENALTY)
• Turn in Fundraiser money and order forms (the rep is coming on Friday, so I have to have everything ready to give him first thing Friday morning)
• CHAPTER 8 AND 9 GROUPS NEED TO BE READY TO PRINT (we will begin no later than 15 minutes after the tardy better)
