Daily Agenda, Thursday 11/6

REMEMBER I LEAVE TODAY AND WILL NOT BE HERE FRIDAY AND TUESDAY. NO SCHOOL MONDAY. YOU WILL HAVE A SUB; PLEASE BE ON YOUR BEST BEHVIOR, AS I KNOW YOU CAN.

FUNDRAISER ORDER FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN 11/17, MONDAY. Make sure that you are turning money in to me periodically. I can't do anything if your money gets stolen. SO BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR FUNDRAISING MONEY.


WARM-UP:
1) CHECK YOUR MAILBOXES (I WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WITH THOSE ITEMS SHORTLY)
2) go to http://www.freerice.com/ (we are going to work on a different section of free rice today)* Click on Subjects (at the very top of the window)
* Scroll down to English* Click on English Grammar
* Spend 10 minutes working on the English Grammar
* At the end of 5 minutes, open your Grains of Rice donation spreadsheet
* Record the number of grains of rice you donated today.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
Lots of discussions in preparation for my absence
3) discuss a few housekeeping things (tardies, absences, not calling me): 50 points off for any tardy or absence with no call
4) I am going to take folders (need to get your 2nd six weeks time sheets out and hang on to them so you can get them signed and RETURNED BY NEXT FRIDAY. IT WILL COUNT AS PART OF YOUR 40% ON THE 3RD SIX WEEKS GRADES.)
5) You can keep your 3rd six weeks time sheet in your box until I get back on Wednesday with your folders. Hold on to pay check stubs, you can record and update those when I get back.
6) I want you sitting in your assigned seats while I am gone. The sub will have a seating chart.
7) I am going to have to do I's again for this six weeks again, because I am missing evaluations still. I will have it all cleared up next week.
