Daily Agenda, Wednesday 12/10

I am really getting fraustrated with absences. This pattern is a very bad pattern to begin. Because if it becomes a habit and you continue it in to your adult working life, you are going to be job hoping because of absences and it is going to eventually leave you jobless. I really don't want that to happen with any of you. In the next 2 weeks, I will be determining who will be removed from my program and who won't and absences is going to be a huge part of that decision.

I still have your folders at home. There are a lot of you who are missing all kinds of documents, pay check stubs, filling out the pay check stub record sheet. Your grade this six weeks may really suffer because of that. You have to keep that stuff up to date, because you never know when I am going to take a grade on it, plus it is the law and a major part of this class.

Hopefully tomorrow or Monday I can let each of you know what I am missing from you.

YOU MAY NOT COPY AND PASTE INFORMATION FROM THE WEBSITES TO BE USED AS YOUR OWN WORK - THAT IS PLAGIRISM AND WILL RESULT IN A ZERO. There is nothing wrong with copying and pasting and then going back and writing it in your own words. You can even quote some of the informaiton you get from the websites you will be visiting. YOU CANNOT QUOTE EVERYTHING AND YOU MUST GIVE CREDIT TO THE WEBSITE YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION FROM. (I will talk more about that on Thursday.)

I lost my rubric while I was creating it. I will get the grading rubric to you on Thursday as well as show some examples of what I want.

ALL YOU REALLY NEED TO DO TODAY IS:

* Also, if first period leaves a book out, and it's left there after 2nd period, I will take points away from both students that sit on either side of that book and those students in both periods. So, help each other out.
