Daily Agenda, Monday (week6)

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS FOR WEEK #6:
* Demonstrate effective verbal, nonverbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
* Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, teamwork, and leadership.
* Demonstrate appropriate grooming and appearance for the workplace.
* Demonstrate appropriate business and personal etiquette in the workplace.
* Exhibit productive work habits and attitudes.
* Determine how interests, abilities, personal priorities, and family responsibilities affect career choice.
* Compare rewards and demands for various levels of employment in a variety of careers.
* Exhibit ethical practices.
WARM-UP:

1) Log on

2) Warm-up (do these as they apply to you)
* fill in and update your time sheet
* copy your pay check stub
* update your pay check stub record sheet (yellow page)
3) Post assignment.
* Create a NEW POST on your blog
* Title the post: Work Schedule Week#6
* List in the text box, your work schedule for this week. (See example below of how I want it formated. The picture has week 4's date, so be sure to refer to your school calendar for the dates of this week.)


CLASS ACTIVITIES:

4) In a new post, title it: Terms Week #6

  • Define the following terms in a new blog post. (Go out on the Internet to find the definitions. www.dictionary.com ; go to google and type in define & then the word i.e. define act) You need to type the VERB definition of the word.
  • format the list as follows:
  1. act: to perform in or as if in a play; represent dramatically: act out a story
  2. active: to make active; cause to function or act
  3. dkjfdlkj
  4. dkljfasldj
